Cynthia graduated from the University of Calgary’s nursing program in 2000 and immediately began working along side respected Calgary dermatologist Dr. Allan R. Behm. Today, Cynthia continues to provide family-centred, medically focused care together with a team of experienced medical professionals at Richmond Square Medical Centre.

Cynthia is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA), College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), and is a certified laser trainer for Cutera Laser Systems. She’s also a mother to 4 wonderful children.

Cynthia uses two lasers, Lumenis C0₂ and Cutera xeo, to treat the following conditions:

Cutera xeo consists of three clinically proven, completely customizable lasers and light-based models, allowing us to perform numerous procedures on a broad range of patients.

We make kids feel comfortable and at ease. Our spacious exam room has toys, treats and other distractions. We never force a child to undergo treatment, however, we try to find the best-fit treatment for everyone to ensure comfort and efficacy.

Products
Cynthia is knowledgeable about most skin care product lines. The Alyria skincare products are new to the clinic but not new to Cynthia. These products are only sold in doctor’s offices, owing to their medical-grade, clinically proven active and stable ingredients. These products can help treat and maintain healthy skin with minimal time and financial investment.

Consultations
A personalized, one-on-one 30-minute consultation with Cynthia includes an in-depth medical assessment, skin type classification, personalized skin care product consultation and a Q&A session. You’ll know exactly which products to use and which to steer clear of. We can even recommend specific products we carry right here in the clinic, saving you a trip to the drugstore.
